God of Miracles (Introduction)

After going through a series on pre-requisites for abundance, we will discuss about the God of miracles. God manifests himself in various ways, and undoubtedly He manifests himself as the God of miracles. His every work comes through as miracles unto us. There is no extent to the knowledge of God; He keeps revealing Himself to us. Howbeit, let’s take time to discuss how God reveals Himself as the God of miracles.

This reminds me of a movie I once watched. A young boy found himself on top of a tree, and could not descend. Shouting and crying for help, his father run out to help him out. His father beckoned on him to jump and trust that He will catch him. After contemplating for some few seconds, the young boy thought the distance between his father and him was too far than to trust his father’s suggestion. He then saw a heap of leaves and then decided to jump on it, and he did. Unknown to him, there was a branch of a tree in the heap of leaves. The branch injured his ribs and he almost died.

This story is a reminder that it is God that gives us the abundance. Upon setting ourselves apart for the abundance by discussing the prerequisites of abundance, it is important that we trust God to do what He alone can do (miracles). This is what the Bible says:

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV)

Don’t fight your way through to get the breakthrough. Trust in the God who has already begun the great work in you. He will accomplish everything that He has started in you. Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

I thank you Father for Your word that I have heard today. Thank you for sustaining me through all I have been through. I pray that You will grant me the grace to continually trust You through all I go through. This and many other blessing I ask in the name of Christ my Lord. AMEN!!!!

If you do not know this man called Jesus, I would like us to have a chance to invite Him into our lives. He is all that we need to survive and be sustained in His will. If you want to receive Jesus as your Lord and savior, kindly say these prayers after me:

I thank you Father for sending Christ Jesus to die for our sins. I receive Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please come into my heart so we can have fellowship together. Thank You for Your presence in my life. AMEN!

If you have said these words after me, kindly find a bible believing and Holy Spirit filled church to fellowship with. May all the grace and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be your portion as you enjoy the company of other believers. God bless you and remain a blessing.
