Do it!

I woke up this morning tired. I had a conference dinner to attend yesterday and slept late at night. However late I slept, I was up early. I felt the need to pray but was also halfway asleep if you have experienced that feeling. After much struggle, I got up to start praying but was not getting into the mood. With much push and persistence, I was surprised by the richness of the fellowship I had this morning.

Why do I share this story? You have been crippled and lost motivation to pursue God’s vision for you. This may be due to a sense of guilt, past failures, discouragement from other people, low self-esteem, as well as pride. Resorting to the current trend of events, it seems normal to rather settle in your little space, and enjoy yourself as the precious time to fulfil your purpose whiles away.

Keeping ourselves never helps us. As Dr. Maxwell writes in his book, the 15 laws of growth that self-esteem puts a lid on our potential, and being intentional, aware of yourself and start working on yourself to have another view of yourself. The New Testament is filled with scriptures that create awareness of who we are in Christ, placing an infinite bound on what we can do. It’s time to rise up and start doing it again!

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13:20-21 (NKJV)

This is my prayer for you that you will be equipped to get to the finished line. You can make it there, all it takes is faith and courage. Just Do it!

God bless you and remain a blessing.
